Culture & Entertainment Tourism Rock The Park 2018

  • By Tourism London

On Saturday, July 14th

Rock the Park is back and has announced its second night presented by Start.ca and London’s Best Rock FM96. Rock the Park will invade Harris Park once again. Jones Entertainment Group (JEG) and FM96 will be bringing 5 amazing rock acts featuring a past favourite, Rise Against as well as Three Days Grace, Theory (formerly Theory of a Deadman), Pop Evil and London’s very own Texas King.

By partnering with established festivals such as Ottawa Bluesfest and Quebec City’s Festival D’ete, Rock the Park has been able to learn the various genres and trends that are constantly evolving. Both festivals have had fantastic success with their addition of hip-hop acts, so Rock the Park decided to evolve with the trends as well and create something for everybody.

“We had amazing success with Rise Against a few years ago, and figured in order to bring ‘rock’ back into ‘Rock the Park’, why not bring back a band that had the crowd going absolutely nuts. In addition to that, we’re happy to have London locals Texas King on the bill to showcase some of the music talent that originates from our City. With that, we feel that we have an amazing night ahead of us with 5 great acts on one main stage.” Brad Jones – President, Jones Entertainment Group
