Great Lakes Farms

The apple picking season is now here so be sure to stop at Great Lakes Farms to pick up your fresh apples and let the kids run loose with some of their fun-filled farm activities like a corn maze, pirate ship, straw mountain and tractor rides on weekends. After picking be sure to follow your nose to their apple barn for delicious baked goods, fresh apple cider and more apple based products. Kustermans Fall Festival Days

September 29 - November 5, 2017
Visit Kustermans for their Farm Fall Festival Days featuring acres of family fun including: a Corn Maze (new design for 2017), a Berry Punchin' Maze, Farmcade Games, Giant Jumping Pillows, friendly farm animals, Pony Rides and much more. After all of the fun don’t forget to stop into their farm market and bakery, specializing in the best of locally grown and produced foods or pick up one of their many pumpkins to take home and decorate. Pumpkin Festival at Clovermead Adventure Farm 

September 16 - October 28, 2017
Celebrate the world of pumpkins this fall at Clovermead Adventure Farm. There’s bushels of fresh family fun to explore including: pumpkin bowling, shooting apples from a giant apple sling shot, wagon rides, farm animals, a corn maze and much more. Be sure to not miss the Pumpkin Cannon Artillery show and when your exhausted from all the fun, pick your own pumpkin from their field. That sweet transvestite and his motley crew did the ‘Time Warp’ on Broadway for the first time back in 1975. Join the Grand Theatre for their third and final trip to Frank 'N' Furter's castle on the McManus Stage. Theme dressing is encouraged with an array of audience participation props. International Archaeology Day at The Museum of Ontario Archaeology

A series of activities for all ages has been organized by the Museum of Ontario Archaeology, City of London - London Advisory Committee on Heritage (LACH), and Sustainable Archaeology: Western from 10 AM to 4 PM. See live demonstrations, guided tours and exhibits. Stop by and chat with a real archaeologist about their profession and experiences or have your artifacts  identified by one of them. You’re invited to trick-or-trick at the creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky home of The Addams Family this Halloween! In this brand-new edition adapted for young performers, daughter Wednesday Addams falls for a 'normal' boy. Her parents, Morticia and Gomez must come to terms with the fact that their little girl is growing up. The Hands of Orlac

Visit Centennial Hall and witness Scott Good conduct a live score performance for the two hour long 1920’s silent horror film' The Hands of Orlac' as the story unfolds on the big screen. The audience is invited to attend in ‘horror dress’ for a costume party following the performance. Contains mature themes, recommended for ages 11 and older. Learn More

Family Pumpkin Patch

October 28, 2017
Visit the Covent Garden Market, outside on Market Square for a fun filled day including live music, a kids obstacle course, face painting, fun activities, halloween cookies and apple cider. Kids can come dressed up in their Halloween costume and get a free goodie bag as well as the chance to win a grand prize. Pick your own pumpkins for $2.00 per pumpkin. From 10 AM to 1 PM. Storyspook Village at Storybook Gardens

October 21 - 30, 2017
Haunted Halloween fun for young children and families. Get your costumes and flashlights ready for a night of spook (but not too spooky!) fun at the park. The event includes trick or treating, meet and greets with costumed characters and amusement rides at night. Bring your flashlight and treat bag and dress for the weather. Tickets are available at the door, or new this year - purchase your tickets in advance to bypass the line. Open admission from 6 PM to 9 PM. $15.00 per child (adults are free when accompanied by paid child admission). Learn More

After Dark Festival activities is family fun for all ages including a flashlight corn maze and coffin ride simulator. Other farm faves After Dark experiences include a corn cannon, water balloon sling shot, zip lines and much more. Also available at Kustermans is Walt's Acres, two horrifying haunted tours recommended for 14 years and older...are you brave enough to go first? Get your blood pumping and your heart racing with the Corn Stalks haunted tour or there’s bound to be chills at every corner with the Anna’s Barn haunted tour. The Midnight Village: Donnellys After Dark at Fanshawe Pioneer Village

October 13 - 29, 2017
This new event is a walking tour that meanders off the beaten Village path to explore the hidden corners of London’s past. Travel back to 19th century Lucan-Biddulph and learn about the famous feud between local vigilantes and the Donnelly clan. Follow the crooked signpost down the Roman Line to hear ghostly tales of mayhem and anarchy that culminate in a terrifying evening with murderous results.
