Hot on the heels of an extremely successful 2014 season, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre is pleased to announce its 2015 line up.

The 2015 summer season will lead off on May 27th with the return of stand-out performer Leisa Way in her classic revue hit “Rhinestone Cowgirl: A Tribute to Dolly Parton”. Starring Leisa Way, Aaron Solomon, and Randall Kempf, and featuring the Wayward Wind Band, “Rhinestone Cowgirl” is a hit filled homage to one of country music’s most iconic performers.

Opening on June 10th, PSFT is pleased to be producing Norm Foster’s 1950’s period comedy “Hilda’s Yard” … “It’s 1956. When your grown children return to the nest, what do you do?” Gangsters and floozies and romance among the flower beds … how will it end?

Third up, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre is delighted to be presenting “Old Wives’ Tales” by Kevin Riordan. “Getting married is an act of romance … staying married is an act of will!” Always listen to your mother. We’ve all heard it, but playwright Kevin Riordan shows us why we should pay attention in this laugh-filled tribute to mothers and daughters everywhere.

August 5th brings the Canadian classic, “The Drawer Boy”, to the Port Stanley stage. Long hidden mysteries, the bonds of friendship, and the wonder of stories well told, Michael Healey’s Chalmers Award/Governor Generals Award winning play is not to be missed.

Allana Harkin’s sparkling comedy “Real Estate” will close off the 2015 season with an extended run opening on August 26th. What do you do when your client has even less curb appeal than his hard to sell house? Declutter, simplify, add a touch of “feng shui”, and watch the sparks fly. A blocked writer, a guy with perfect hair, an ex-wife, and a real estate saleswoman with more enthusiasm than expertise … what could possibly go wrong?

With a varied season, appealing to single ticket buyers, subscribers, and tour groups alike, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre looks forward to providing another season of top quality entertainment in 2015.
